Greenpreneur Bootcamp

 Greenpreneur Bootcamp

Addressing climate change requires actions to be taken jointly by governments and citizens whom they need to be informed and their skills to take action are forged, especially young people. Atlas for development, Peace First, and FOMEJE, with the support of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS – REMENA), have organized a Greenpreneur Bootcamp, aimed to create a space for youth to strengthen formal and informal education on climate change and assist them to support their local communities through thematic training, experienced speakers, and non-traditional learning methods combined with intensive workshops on projects creation and completion, starting a social initiative and pitching it alongside connecting with other active peers and building cultural exchange knowledge. It is essential for young people to be not only given skills and knowledge, but also means to demonstrate what they have been learning. Thanks to our partnership with Peace First, the Greenpreneurs have been given a mini-grant of $250, so they can take concrete local actions tackling climate change.
